Michael joined Evergreen Management, LLC. in 2006.  Michael specializes in retirement, tax and estate planning for affluent individuals.  Michael also chairs the firm's Investment Committee.  Michael’s additional responsibilities include wealth and retirement projections, asset allocation analyses, website and technology development.

Mr. O'Donnell holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification, the recognized standard for excellence in personal financial planning.  Michael also earned the CPA professional designation in 2007.

Michael's educational background includes an MBA in Personal Financial Planning and Risk Management from Georgia State University in 2006 as well as a Master of Accountancy in 2004 and a BS in Finance in 2002 from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.

Michael is an active member in the Estate Planning Council of Chattanooga, the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Young Professionals Association of Chattanooga.  He has also been a guest speaker for local professional organizations and groups.

Michael is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying mountain biking, road biking, kayaking, and trail running.  He is a member of the International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA), the Chattanooga chapter of the Southeast Off-Road Bicycle Organization (SORBA) and is a USA Triathlon (USAT) athlete.
